Re: Yorksgiving Dinner SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5th
Credit where credit is due: John Brake made the bread from which the stuffing was made. He was in horrible pain. Just awful. But he was nonetheless cleaning up after me and Tracey. Sure... my feet hurt. But seeing John soldiering through that kind of pain to make a meal for us... it's one of the thi...

Re: Congratulations Ken, Barry and all YSA members
By my account, it was a smashing success. Only one angry outburst on my part (sorry about that Dave), and only one thing got wrecked (one of our popup tents that wasn't staked down and blew away in the wind). And just a mild case of tendonitis for me. 95% of our guests left happy and said they will ...

Re: Antique Fly-in And Open House
We're still full steam ahead for Saturday at this juncture. The weather certainly looks iffy, but then again, it's partly sunny, partly cloudy, chance of rain, risk of thunderstorms... Just like every day all summer. The Museum's aircraft will be coming Saturday, if not at 10am due to low ceilings, ...

30/12 will be closed and its south end used for parking. What is normally the members' parking lot will be set aside for oversized or handicap parking. It will really help get parking sorted out if members use the general parking lot (30/12), and not the spot we normally use. It will demonstrate to ...

Re: Antique Fly-in And Open House
I've taken a few suggestions and made some changes, notably the RRP and GAWK roster, the addition of Mike Collier on tow, and added a wing runner role.
Ryan, are you okay to run wings from 10 to 2?

Oh, you made the list. Just now. The online spreadsheet is read-only because if it isn't, I have no control at all; too many cooks in the kitchen.
You're right - I do need a wing runner position - and thank you for pointing that out. Can I slot you in for that?

Re: Introduction
Hi Garrett, You may have seen me plowing my Outback out of our driveway for a few hours I think in late February of this year, perhaps early March. I tried to make it down our driveway but failed, and then had to spend a few hours plowing a path to my car to pull it out. You have horses, right? I as...

Re: Electric Golf Carts
Thank you Barry, I got your report (and your previous one re: LTX). This was the third report I have received about electrical safety hazards in the main hangar this year (and thank you to everyone who submitted those hazard reports). And we're not even into June yet. The other two: A hazard report ...
