Re: York soaring embroidered logo

I'm still waiting to hear back about the oval logo that many people have.

The smaller square patches have been used as gifts so I guess talk to Dave if you would like to purchase one.

2-33 Spoiler incident at Texas Civil air patrol

https://drive.google.com/file/d/13VQWI7 ... p=drivesdk

Worth a look. Spoilers locked open due to an issue with the screw in the rear seat back.

End result was an off field landing with no injuries.

Re: 2024 Cowley Fall Camp Oct 5th to Oct 14th

So here is why I missed Yorksgiving. I was out west to visit family and was able to get away for a day to visit Cowley. https://imgur.com/a/otFzQrX The conditions were great and people were able to climb well above 17000 MSL. There were a few private gliders and club ships from several clubs across ...

Re: York soaring embroidered logo

The file itself is usable, however the shop is incapable of applying it directly to my hat.

Re: 2024 Cowley Fall Camp Oct 5th to Oct 14th

So if we as a club wanted to participate in activities like this in the future what would that entail?

Other than not having the Oxygen gear the DG500 would be ideal for this. It would be a long drive with a trailer but not that much further than the annual drive to Florida.

I have been talking with some of the other clubs to see what they are doing and it appears FLARM is commons with a bit of OGN. The current receiver at the club is not currently picking up FLARM or OGN due to a softw...

Open glider network transmitters

I have been doing some experimentation with cheap OGN transceivers. Not sure if the club is interested in investing in a technology like this but they would be under $100 per aircraft and can be used on aircraft with no electrical system. https://www.lilygo.cc/products/t-echo-meshtastic-ca https://g...

Re: York soaring embroidered logo

I'm going to see if my local place can run that file.

They seemed ok with doing it on my Tilley hat.
