I think we all understand golf cart DI requirements now.
As my friend said' "Never be in a hurry"
AND "If you can't be on time, be early"
Landing aircraft - wait to talk with your student/intro until you have turned the glider 90 degrees for towing to the taxiway.
- when the cart arrives, do not put on the tail dolly. Until you are off the runway you are a hazard to navigation. Go straight off, and then put on the tail dolly.
- land longer. There may be an unseen aircraft behind you.
Cart drivers - take an extra body with you especially for single seaters and intros, so you have enough manpower.
Wing runner - your checklist is intended to be independent of the pilot(s). Check everything yourself and if you don't understand the spoiler or canopy latches, find out. It only takes a few seconds to be safer. Don't assume the other canopy is locked on a 2-seater with only a pilot. Make sure.
Pre Takeoff - Do your checks first before anything. Talking and pictures later. Be ready when the tug arrives. It should not have to shut down, and if it does not it is burning expensive AVGAS. Be ready.
