NEW SEASON - donate to yourself

Post by Doug Carman »

Early spring is a challenging time financially for YSA, so any and all early payments for membership, camping, and check flights and more, are greatly appreciated. I have just sent $1600 to the treasury and now can sit back and not worry about my account for a while.

It's a safe investment - you can't accidentally spend it on something frivolous if it's in your York Soaring account! And once the glacier recedes from the field, you can go flying!

Further to the excellent investment advice from Doug, the Board will be considering 2025 fee increases next month. Any individual fee you happen to pay in advance of the Board decisions (i.e. the 3 listed below) will be exempt from any corresponding increase. So a good idea to eTransfer money and either send a note to the office along the lines of: 'please use my FAS funds to pay (any/all of) MEMBERSHIP, TIEDOWN, CAMPING' or rely on the office to apply any positive balance to 2025 fees to your advantage (fees can be reversed if contrary to your wishes).

Funds sent, I put the message in the e-transfer. Good enough or should I send an email (and if so, what's the address)?

The address, as always, is ysa.officemanager@gmail.com but comment in eTransfer should be fine.
