Restricted Operations guide updated 26th July 2020
Main changes:
1. Under the Ontario regulations, ALL officers of the club (i.e. Board members, CFI, CTP, Safety Officer) are all equally and legally responsible for Covid compliance on YSA property; thus, all officers are effectively Covid Compliance Officers. The formal role of "The compliance officer", previously described in the document, is now removed.
2. Under the Ontario regulations, Phase 3, outside gatherings are now limited to 100, rather than 10 persons. The club follows this guidance for the campsite, but prefer that members maintain a maximum of 10 in any area of flight operations. Further, a limit of 3 in the workshop.
3. Additional information regarding the bringing on-line of a K21 (YSK) for the purpose of solo flight and dual-checks for insurance purposes.
The Board thanks all members for complying with these protocols to date.
YSA Restricted Operations Guide
Re: YSA Restricted Operations Guide
November 11th update to the YSA Restricted Operations Guide
The updates concern:
Golf-carts 1:
Ontario regulations now allow passengers where the driver/passenger(s) are already in the same social bubble.
Golf-carts 2:
Multiple drivers of the same golf-cart on the same day. Previous wording stated new driver MUST clean as appropriate, new wording essentially replaces "MUST" with "IS ADVISED TO" (this reflects the reality that no member has been seen cleaning a golf cart since the first month of the season).
WASHROOMS:
References to repairs/closed etc removed. Reminder not to use when the water is switched off (as it has been seen late October).
CLUBHOUSE:
Text changed to reflect Ontario Regulations that allow member usage, respecting physical distancing and use of masks. The board ask only one member be in the kitchen area at any one time.
