I am not being silly when I state that aircraft flown under Visual Flight Rules conditions have the most remarkable heads up display which consists of the parts of the canopy frame and the nose of the glider used as a reference with respect to the horizon. Gliders are further equipped with a yaw string. These two components are the most important instruments that we have available to accurately indicate the attitude of the aircraft.
