It is almost inevitable that while intro passengers are waiting for their flight there are experienced members waiting as well. Why not ask a member to go and talk to the intro. This will do many things: indicate our friendliness; give them more of a sense of what soaring is all about and what to expect on their flight; help to pass the time in a more productive way; and hopefully infect the intro with some of our own enthusiasm. And let’s face it, don’t we all like talking about soaring? It’s just a matter of making the introduction and getting on with it.
