In Control/Aerodrome Traffic Zones you must have 3 miles flight and ground visibility, 1 mile horizontal and 500 ft. vertical separation from cloud, and maintain an altitude of at least 500 ft. AGL. For Control Areas you must have 3 miles flight visibility. 1 mile horizontal and 500 ft. vertical separation from cloud.

In uncontrolled Airspace if you are 700 ft. AGL or above, you must have 1 mile flight visibility, 2000 ft. horizontal and 500 ft. vertical separation from cloud. However if you are below 700 ft. AGL you must have 1 mile flight visibility but only remain clear of cloud.

A condition known as Special VFR can be granted within control zones and only one aircraft at a time. If the aircraft has 2-way radio communications the aircraft must stayclear of cloud and in sight of the ground with restrictions of for a 700 ft. ceiling of 1 mile visibility, for a 600 ft. ceiling, 2 miles visibility and for a 500 ft. ceiling, 3 miles visibility. If the aircraft can only receive radio transmissions (RONLY) it must remain clear of cloud and in sight of the ground and have at least an 800 ft. ceiling and ground visibility of 1 mile. Aircraft with no radio (NORDO) must have a ceiling of 800 ft., 1 mile visibility and remain in sight of tower at all times.
